Have you ever got that  while playing the original Bridge Constructor where you think to yourself "wow these building these bridges is awesome, but I sure would love to do stunts on them". Well the developers at ClockStone felt the same way. Following the moderate success of Bridge Constructor, ClockStone developed this side scrolling stunt driving game for our pleasure.

Really the title does explain everything about the game. The premise is to go from point A to point B in a truck. Along these path's will be uncompleted bridges or ramps in your way, the game provides you with the necessary tools to complete those ramps and use them to get to point B. Each level progressively get more complex and you are scored based on time in the air, number of flips, environmental damage and stars and screws collected along the way. There are a few dozen levels to beat split off into different sections. As you perfect levels you will unlock more to play later on.

Overall the gameplay is pretty generic if you ask me. The actual driving feels clunky as do the construction mechanics themselves. To complete a bridge or ramp you must build the different sections that go with said ramp, support beams, wood, foundation etc. All pretty simple but pretty much everything is done with the A button and different combinations of holding the A button. Which proved a little annoying when trying to complete a ramp. Each level overall is quite easy. You have a short distance to cross, and only a few ramps to build. Stars can be collected along the way but are not required to complete the levels, as with the screws. The screws and stars are more or less bonuses to collect along the way.

The idea ClockStone had for the game is nice and all but for a idea like this you would expect more customization. There is a little wiggle room when it comes to how you design your ramps but still I felt trapped in the possibilities. I also felt like yeah we can build our own bridges but it seems like the only working design is what the developers wanted and not something that allows for more freedom when building.

As for the visuals they are pretty bland. Nothing spectacular but it just felt a little lazily done. The color are simple and resolution looks like something you would see on Xbox 360. Music is your basic generic background music you have heard it what feels like a hundred other games.

Achievements are all pretty easy, with a short list of just 10 achievements, Bridge Constructor Stunts will task you with doing things like, 500 flips, destroy a truck 250 times, collect 25 screws (29 are available in game),100k destruction points and 1 hour of airtime, all pretty easy and the few I left out are just a few easy achievements tied to specific vehicles. Overall the game has 1000 Gamerscore and can be completed in less that 10 hours.

When it comes down to it BCS isn't a terrible game, just for me I found no appeal to come back and play it. Yes creating your own ramps and bridges is cool but with the limited availability of customization and generic driving I didn’t feel bad not coming back. For young kids this game might be fun but as a 20 something gamer I need more than a few tricks to keep my attention.

Final Score - 5/10
